Description

The Performance Shank delivers a smooth, centered signal with a clean pickup and a quick, consistent reset. Its back-set, swept profile softens the first touch while still offering enough leverage to shape lift, collection, and alignment. This design keeps cues clear without feeling abrupt, making it a reliable choice for finished horses that respond best to subtle, precise communication.

The mouthpiece features a tall cathedral spade port that provides pronounced tongue relief and a defined, upright throat. When engaged, it offers refined vertical lift, added collection, and a crisp line of communication through the body. The combination of the cathedral spade and the curved shank is intended for skilled riders who understand how to balance leverage, lift, and release without over-cueing. This bit is best suited for seasoned horses familiar with advanced signal bits.
7" shanks, 5" mouthpiece, port height 3", port width 1-1/2".
